Sokratel launches its Cumulocity Connector app on Phoenix Contact’s PLCnext store

The Internet of Things (IoT) plays a central role in the digitalization of companies, machines and systems in order to meet the global requirements of modern industrial automation.

The Cumulocity Connector from Sokratel connects the OT landscapes of Phoenix PLCnext technology with the Cumulocity IoT platform. After simple installation on the PLCnext device, the app provides the standardized device management functions of the IoT platform. Users can log in to this platform online from any location to view the data and status of all registered devices.

The app is available in the PLCnext store and currently offers the following features:
