Beehyve Community Project

An internal Sokratel group has been working on a contribution to Phoenix Contact’s Beehyve Community Project in their spare time since November 2022. https://www.plcnext-community.net/beehyve/

They are developing a concept that combines modern agriculture with bee protection: Farmers can register their spraying tours and receive important information about beehives in their area, while beekeepers can react to the registered tours by, for example, closing their hives or opening a food source next to the hive. This means that the bees are not exposed to pesticides.

The ‘BeeSmartNEXT’ project will be presented as part of the long-standing partnership with Phoenix Contact at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg from 14.11.23 to 16.11.23.
