Sokratel has been continuously expanding its know-how in its core competencies for over 30 years. But new topics and research are not neglected either, not least due to the proximity to research institutions and universities.

    Move-in innovation sheet
    The company headquarters in Augsburg moves to new offices in the Innovationsbogen in Augsburg
  • 2023
    Entry of an investor group
    Augsburg becomes the new company headquarters. Sokratel Kommunikations- und Datensysteme GmbH becomes Sokratel GmbH.

    Kiel location
    Relocation to our Kiel branch in Kirchhofallee
  • 2021
    Location Hamburg & Bochum
    Relocation to our Hamburg branch and reestablishment of the Bochum location
  • 2020
    Kiel location
    Foundation of our Kiel location (REGUS Center)
  • 2015
    Norderstedt location
    Foundation of the location in Norderstedt near Hamburg
  • 2012
    Windpower
    New customer in Hamburg.
    Expansion of the Industrial Automation division with a focus on renewable energy.

    Hardware in the Loop
    Development of a dSpace HIL for the DSC control unit at BMW. In the following years, continuous expansion of the Automotive division.

    Entry Automotive
    Development of a CAN network test automation system at Robert BOSCH GmbH. Entry into the Automotive division

    Development project
    Development of a cut-off register control system for a printing press based on MATLAB® Simulink® with Realtime Target.

    First development office in Augsburg.

    Development project
    Development of a measuring amplifier interface for a dynamic track scale for weighing trains.
  • 1996
    Development project
    First order from MAN Roland Druckmaschinen GmbH for a real-time measuring system for high-resolution SIN/COS encoders. Entry into industrial automation.
  • 1994
    Foundation
    Foundation of Sokratel Kommunikations- und Datensysteme GmbH with headquarters in Diedorf.
    The company deals with data communication, remote data transmission PC-fax and remote control of PCs.
